Having a meal at Kasbin Putrajaya, and I have to say—the food is absolutely amazing! We had a fish dish, a vegetable dish, a shrimp dish, two bowls of rice, one drink, and a dessert, all for just 57 MYR for two people. Honestly, I can’t even name all the dishes, but trust me, this combination was simply perfect. As for the dessert, the first bite felt a little different, but from the second bite onwards, you’ll definitely fall in love with it! Nice place with four adorable young staff members. Highly recommended!

NEW FAVORITES! Tried the Chicken Masak Lemak, Beef Asam Pedas, and a refreshing Classic Cendol and they were excellent! The Chicken Masak Lemak was rich and creamy, with the perfect balance of coconut milk and a gentle kick from cili padi. Comforting yet flavorful. The Beef Asam Pedas came with tender beef in a tangy, spicy gravy that really wakes up the palate. The Classic Cendol was the ideal finisher, icy cold with just the right sweetness to balance out the spice from the mains. All drinks are superb! Each made from real fruits. On top of the food, the staff were warm and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The place is well-ventilated, so even with hot dishes, dining felt comfortable and relaxed. Overall, Kasbin Putrajaya is a fantastic spot for hearty Malay flavors in a welcoming setting. ⭐

A Hidden Gem Near Masjid Putrajaya! I tried their cendol, daging masak lemak, and sup ayam — everything was perfectly cooked, flavourful, and truly comforting. The cendol was creamy and refreshing, just right after walking around Masjid Putrajaya. We were also served very well by Andy, one of the staff — friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even better! If you’re visiting Putrajaya or the beautiful pink mosque, make sure to stop by Kasbin Restaurant. A great place to enjoy authentic Malaysian food with warm service and local vibes — highly recommended for tourists! ????????

I'm truly sorry I forgot to take a photo, cuz the food was so delicious that my husband and I were too busy enjoying it! Special thanks to Andy, the staff member who gave us such friendly and thoughtful recommendations. And if you’re someone who usually doesn’t like stingray because of its smell, I highly recommend giving it a try at this restaurant it will absolutely change your mind!

Kasbin, Putrajaya Stumbled upon this gem while walking around Masjid Putra, Putrajaya, and I’m so glad I did! Kasbin serves authentic Malay traditional dishes, and the food is seriously delicious. You’ll find it just beside Kenangan Coffee, right next to the lake — you’ll need to go down two escalators to reach it, but once you do, the view is breathtaking! You can sit outside and enjoy the calm lake view or stay inside with aircond — both are cozy and relaxing . I ordered Masak Lemak Cili Padi Daging Salai, Sotong Goreng Tepung, and Ikan Pari Bakar — all three were amazing! The daging salai was rich, spicy, and creamy, the squid crispy, and the grilled stingray so flavourful . We honestly finished everything until the plates were clean! Staff were friendly and polite, always smiling — really pleasant service . Even though the menu isn’t huge, every dish feels carefully made with love and taste . If you’re visiting Putrajaya and craving good Masak Lemak with a gorgeous lake view, Kasbin is a must-try spot!

What a pleasant little café Kasbin ! From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our table. The environment was cozy, with soft traditional Malay music playing in the background — not too loud, just enough to set the mood. The place was cool and comfortable. The service was tip-top!!!! One staff member, in particular, was incredibly attentive — he followed up on every order, explained the menu clearly, and informed us of item availability before we ordered. It really helped us plan our meal without unnecessary waiting. His name is Andy!! He consistently checked our table and made sure nothing was lacking. Truly excellent service! As for the food — everything was superb!! Well worth the money and surprisingly affordable. - Asam Pedas Ikan Pari: As described — not overly spicy, flavourful, and the fish was tender and easy to eat. Suits for kids too ! - Ikan Masin: Perfectly salted, not overpowering. - Udang Goreng Tepung: Crispy and delicious. - ABC: Sweet, milky, and tailored exactly to our preference. Overall, this café is highly recommended and definitely friendly on the wallet! Will return again for sure

Ate at Kasbin, Andy served us really well. He was friendly, warm, and put smiles on our faces with his great service. The Set Jamba was good enough for the 4 of us, and we would definitely come again.

Food was great! Had ikan pari bakar, kerang bakar, drinks, cendol, and rice — all under RM60+. Affordable and tasty. Popular with families. Need to order at the counter if you’re in a small group. A few flies, but not a big issue. Worth a try
